Here at Kitchen School we love teaching children how to cook. After all, it’s so important, developing their palates early, teaching them where food comes from and how to grow your own. Children need to be encouraged to be adventurous and curious about their food, empowering them to make healthy and nutritious choices about their lifestyle and diets as well as having the confidence and skills to cook some great, tasty dishes!
Our Children’s Cookery Classes take place once a month on a Saturday at our Cookery School in Edgbaston, Birmingham and are suitable for children aged 7-14. The classes are fun and informal, whilst teaching basic culinary skills, some tasty recipes and of course, covering simple nutrition.
We also offer children’s cooking parties, a fun, memorable occasion, suitable we think for just about anyone!
All ingredients and equipment are provided and you are very welcome to come and join us in our Kitchen to cook or if you’ve got the venue (large kitchen, village hall, local school or anywhere else with electricity, running water and tables) then we’re happy to come to you!
If you’d like to find out more information about our cooking parties or if you have a group of children wanting to learn to cook then please get in touch. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with all your questions or call 0121 643 1378 and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
