Our Kitchen Confidence Classes are designed for the Beginner Cook, for those that are enthusiastic about food and cooking, but don’t always know where to begin. In each class we will cover some classic cookery techniques and methods, knife skills, advice on safe food handling and nutrition.
We will build up your repertoire of recipes with a good, steady base of key ingredients so that you feel confident in the Kitchen. In our beginners cookery classes, we will try and use a mixture of savoury and sweet recipes that you will can taste on the day and then take home with you.
In this Beginners class we will cover Stocks and Sauces – making a classic chicken stock and a roux. As well as an egg based sauce such as Bernaise and mixing meringue kisses.
If you have a recipe in mind that you need help with, then please ask us to introduce it to the class.
