Saturday 24th January 2015 2pm-5pm
Every month we hold a Saturday Cookery Club for children aged between 7-13 years of age.
Each month we cook something new and occasionally we visit chefs at their restaurants or they come to us.
Children are taught to cook some simple favourite recipes both savoury and sweet. Integral to the session are information on nutrition and sourcing and health.
Each month we teach a different menu from the following:
Pizza, Tex Mex, Veggie Burgers, Pies, Pasta, Curry & Rice, Bread making and Pastry.
For this Month the menu will be:
Pasta from scratch – using a pasta rolling machine to make tasty homemade ravioli and spaghetti with tomato sauce
For dessert we will make home made instant banana ice-cream and chocolate sauce
