£50.00 includes Canapés and English Sparkling wine in the garden followed by 3 course dinner at our Kitchen Garden site.
Edible Eastside is our sister site. It is a unique canal-side food garden in the city centre of Birmingham, which has been open for four years teaching urban food growing and foraging.
This year we plan move the cookery school and supper club to Eastside to create the first food venue in Birmingham to grow its own ingredients.
We have teamed up with Guardian Local members scheme to the inaugural supper event. We won’t be officially opening until 2016, but we plan to hold a number of pop up events until our official move to let people know more about our unique food events.
We have developed a special three-course menu based upon the garden. Diners will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling English wine and botanical inspired canapés in the garden where Jayne will discuss the challenges of growing food in the city. Guests will then be seated for dinner in the cookery school, which was formerly the canal keeper’s house for a delicious three-course dinner including heritage tomatoes; foraged-herb stuffed chicken and edible flower popsicle for dessert. Our usual fine dinner surroundings and attention to your enjoyment will be as important as ever.
A vegetarian option is available. To book, please go to Guardian website. You do need to sign up to Guardian Membership, but it is free. BOOK HERE to be directed to the booking site.
