The Kitchen is available to hire to chefs and organisations that need some space but not necessarily our services. The space is the former home of the Canal Master who ran the Grand Union toll. It is a late Georgian / Early Victorian house with huge windows and fireplaces.
The Kitchen has two single ovens, induction hobs, a, dishwasher and a large worktop which functions as a pass or as we use as a cookery demonstration area.
The dining room can accommodate 30 covers or 50 lecture style. The kitchen is not a commercial kitchen, it’s not designed for heavy commercial uses and would not work for all events. Please come and visit and see for yourself.
The dining space has 2 toilets and a kitchenette adjacent to the dining room.
Hire of the space is negotiable depending on whether you want to use the kitchen and what for. Generally the cost will be about £250 a day plus electricity use when the kitchen is being used for dinners.
If you would like us to cater then prices start at £35 a head for all day hire including lunch and drinks/snacks all day.
